Where are the water stations on the Paris Marathon?

There are 14 aid stations, at 4.8 km, 8.7 km, 13.3 km, 16.8 km, 21.3 km, 22.5 km, 24.2 km, 29 km, 30.6 km, 32.2 km, 32.6 km, 35.1 km, 37 km and 38.8 km. 13 of them list water.

Are there gels on the Paris Marathon course?

The organizer lists no gels on the course, so carry every gel you plan to take.

When does the Paris Marathon start?

The race is on Sunday, 4 April 2027, starting at 8:30 local time. Check the organizer's runner information in race week, since wave times can change.

How many gels do I need for the Paris Marathon?

It depends on your finish time and how much carbohydrate you have practised taking. At a steady target, a 4:00 finish uses about 11 gels of 25 g, or 75 g of carbs per hour. Enter your own pace, weight and gel in the calculator to get your number.
