1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account with Mavr, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use our services.

2. Eligibility

You represent that you are at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required to use the service in your country. If local law requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you represent that you have obtained it. You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to your use of the service.

3. Medical and Safety Disclaimer

Mavr is a general wellness and sports-nutrition education service. It provides educational tools and general information related to nutrition, hydration, training, and recovery. Mavr does not provide medical care, diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, prediction, prognosis, or treatment, and nothing in the service constitutes medical or professional advice. Always seek the advice of a physician, registered dietitian, or qualified sports dietitian for medical conditions, pregnancy or lactation, suspected nutrient deficiency or excess, allergies, eating-disorder concerns, medications, symptoms, or individualized supplement use. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the service. If you experience a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

4. Account Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Service Usage

Mavr provides educational tools intended to support endurance-sport nutrition planning. Daily targets and training load classifications are estimates based on the information available to Mavr and may not reflect illness, injury, environmental conditions, laboratory values, medication effects, or every session demand. Advanced carbohydrate- restriction protocols such as sleep-low should only be used with qualified professional supervision; Mavr does not automatically prescribe them. You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to disrupt its availability.

6. Nutritional Information; Allergens; Product Use

Nutritional and ingredient information (including user-entered, AI-extracted, and third-party data) may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. The “Nutrition coverage” feature screens only selected key nutrients in available food-log data and does not prove adequacy, deficiency, diagnosis, or treatment. You are responsible for verifying nutritional information, ingredient lists, allergen warnings, and product usage instructions directly on product labels and with manufacturers. You acknowledge that endurance training, fueling, and hydration carry inherent risks including dehydration, hyponatremia, heat-related illness, gastrointestinal distress, and injury. You assume all risks associated with your training, racing, nutrition, and hydration decisions.

7. Assumption of Risk; Release

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, or damage arising from your participation in endurance activities and your use of the service. You hereby release and discharge Mavr, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims and liabilities arising out of or related to your use of the service or your training, nutrition, hydration, or competition decisions.

8. No Warranties; No Guarantees

The service, including any plans, calculators, recommendations, or analytics, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee performance outcomes, PRs, weight loss, health improvements, or any specific results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mavr and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. In no event will our total liability exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you have paid to Mavr in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. To the extent such laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply, and our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Subscription and Payments

Certain features may require payment of fees. If you enroll in a paid plan, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge you in accordance with the displayed pricing and billing terms. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

11. AI and Automation Disclosures

Certain features use algorithmic or AI-generated outputs and are identified in the service as AI-assisted or automated. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances and do not replace professional judgment. Mavr does not use AI outputs to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying automated suggestions before relying on them.

12. Third-Party Services and Content

The service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including authentication, hosting, payments, food databases, Apple Health, Garmin, Strava, calendars, training-plan providers, and AI providers. You control whether to connect optional services and should review their permissions. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, security, or accuracy. Your use of them is governed by their terms and policies.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and data associated with the service are owned by Mavr or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

14. User Content and Conduct

You are solely responsible for data and content you submit. You represent that you have all rights to submit such content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. You grant Mavr a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the service. You agree not to misuse the service, including by uploading harmful code, attempting to scrape, or engaging in unlawful conduct.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, posed a security risk, or engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mavr and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

17. Governing Law; Venue

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in Belgium unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by email or through the service. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Severability; Survival

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination do so, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
