Where are the water stations on the Seville Marathon?
There are 15 aid stations and all of them have water: at 4.6 km, 7.3 km, 9.4 km, 11.8 km, 15.3 km, 18 km, 20.7 km, 22.7 km, 25.4 km, 27.4 km, 29.6 km, 32.7 km, 34 km, 36.8 km and 40.3 km. All of them also serve a sports drink.
Are there gels on the Seville Marathon course?
Yes, the organizer lists gels at 20.7 km and 29.6 km. Carry your own as well, so your plan does not depend on a single table.
When does the Seville Marathon start?
The race is on Sunday, 21 February 2027, starting at 8:30 local time. Check the organizer's runner information in race week, since wave times can change.
How many gels do I need for the Seville Marathon?
It depends on your finish time and how much carbohydrate you have practised taking. At a steady target, a 4:00 finish uses about 11 gels of 25 g, or 75 g of carbs per hour. Enter your own pace, weight and gel in the calculator to get your number.
