There are 11 aid stations and all of them have water: at Mile 2.5 (4 km), Mile 4.8 (7.7 km), Mile 7.8 (12.6 km), Mile 10.4 (16.7 km), Mile 12.2 (19.6 km), Mile 14.7 (23.7 km), Mile 16.9 (27.2 km), Mile 19 (30.6 km), Mile 21.2 (34.1 km), Mile 23 (37 km) and Mile 24.5 (39.4 km). All of them also serve a sports drink.

Are there gels on the Big Sur International Marathon course?

Yes, the organizer lists gels at Mile 12.2 (19.6 km) and Mile 19 (30.6 km). Carry your own as well, so your plan does not depend on a single table.
